Happy Birthday Emily!

My little girl turned 4 today. I can't believe how fast time goes by. We had a great day with family.

I thought I would let Emily decide what her cake should look like. We were looking for cake ideas online, we were looking on parenting.com and she found what she wanted. She wanted her cake to look like a purse. I'm not a professional baker and was a bit nervous about this but it turned out all right. Emily was in heaven and absolutely loved it. Here is how it turned out.

Emily wanted to dig in before the party started.

Emily got lots of fun things from her grandmas and grandpas and other family.

This 4 year old is in heaven. She got spoiled!

Blowing out the candles. And no the is not my pregnant belly in the background. That is Tyler thinking he is funny and is sticking his belly out as far as he possibly could.

It's hard to believe that just 4 years ago she was this little. She is growing up so fast. You are a very smart and funny girl. You keep us on our toes. You are such a joy in our lives. Happy Birthday Emily!

Kudos on the cake! Great job! I'm laughing at your previous post of the grimy house you came back to. When we kicked out the renters from OUR Clinton home, we were ALSO faced with a rotten mess. I swear, they did NOT clean that bathroom at all. The tub was black with grime and the bathroom mirror was thick with white gunk and the sink was crusted over with tons of hardened gunk and toothpaste. Ugh! Ew! Wrong! Vulgarity! I SO feel for you with all that cleaning you had to do. Dog hair! No! Well, at least it's yours again, right?

Happy Birthday to Emily!!! I cant believe she is four either! I love your cake! I am totally impressed. I could never make something that creative. I had no idea you guys were all ready back in your old house! That is pretty exciting. I totally feel ya with the pregnancy moving fiasco. Both of my pregnancy we moved during. I was 37 weeks with Kai and 30 weeks with Jude when we moved. And you're right, the prego card doesn't get you out of much. Sorry you had such a mess to clean up. that sounds pretty disgusting. Great idea setting up a site to advertise your house. I'm sure it will sell, it's so beautiful. Good luck.

And way to go on the cake. I was looking through those cakes to get ideas for max's birthday and I have to say that your cake looks pretty darn close to the one in the picture. Good job!
