Girls Spa Night

Tyler has been out of town for a couple of weeks. He has been back in Ohio fixing some things up in the trailer park, moving trailers in, painting and what not. My sister, Keely, has been staying at our house while Tyler has been gone. The kids and I have tried to get out and do fun things to make the time pass by more quickly and to save my sanity. We have been to the park, duck pond, library and have spent endless hours jumping on the trampoline.
Well, the other night we wanted to do something totally different. After Joshua was asleep in bed we went down to the kitchen, got some items out of the refrigerator and created our own little at home spa.
Emily tried a nice yogurt and honey mask. Allie wanted nothing to do with it!
When we got the strawberries out and started smashing them to make our strawberry-lemon mask Allie jumped right in. We didn't smash the strawberries up enough so our mixture was pretty lumpy.
Emily and The Runt just chillaxin'.
Allie was loving this all so much she had to help Keely put stuff all over my face.
We all looked like we had a bad case of chicken pox or measles. We were laughing so hard. Seriously, this just looks wrong.
The girls kept asking "Can we eat our face?"
Oh boy, aren't we a sight for sore eyes? We might not look pretty here but we had a blast! We were all laughing so hard the whole night and as an added bonus our skin felt so nice after too.
Besides doing facials we painted our nails.
And to top it all off we enjoyed some tasty mango-coladas! SO YUMMY!! Talk about a relaxing night full of giggles and fun. It was just what we needed to help get us through these weeks without Ty.

Spa nights are the BEST! And how fun to do it with your girls! You'll have to share your facial recipes!

That is so awesome! I love it- you are such a fun mom Amber! Too bad I don't have any cute girls to do that with :(! I'm glad you could fill your time with fun bonding quality time. They will probably remembering that activity for awhile!
