Attack of the Trampoline

There was a crazy windstorm here today. Winds over 100 mph that totally reeked havoc on trees, buildings, vehicles and the like. People were even lifted off the ground by the winds.

The winds were strong by our house but not as strong as they were elsewhere. Our trampoline was scooted across the backyard. Tyler and I hurried and went outside and took the net off around the tent but it was too cold to take the whole tramp down.

Later in the day I heard a huge crash. Apparently the wind caught our tramp and lifted it up and the poles that the netting was attached to impelled themselves into the siding of my house. One of the pole barely miss my kitchen window by 1/4 inch.

I had the hardest time getting the trampoline down because it was stuck in the siding. I finally got it down and moved it away from the house. Thankfully it did not take flight again.

Tortilla Man

The kids decided they wanted to help me make dinner tonight. We were making chicken enchiladas. They quickly lost interest but not before they took a tortilla for themselves. And with the tortilla they added their Mr. Potato Head parts to it and gave the tortilla a face.

Maya happily sat in her high chair and watched.

Eating a spoon since she can't eat anything else. 

What silly little kids we have. Glad they had fun.

I love my Daddy

We enjoyed yummy Thanksgiving dinner at Tyler's parents house this year. Maya wasn't able to eat anything because she is still not tolerating solid food but she didn't let that get her down. She had such a fun time playing with her daddy. Here's a few pictures of them enjoying this nice day.

Lost tooth

Well, it looks like Emily will be singing "All I want for Christmas is my two front teeth". She just lost 1 of her front teeth with the other one closely behind I'm sure. 

Pretty Emily

When I finished getting Emily ready for school this am she said "Mom, I look really cute today. Take my picture." So that is what we did. She does look mighty cute.

Snow

The first snow of the season always brings bright eyes and a desire to go and play in the beautiful white stuff. My kids stood at the back door repeatedly asking if they could go out and play.

 Emily and Allie enjoyed throwing snowballs at each other for a while.

Everyone enjoyed jumping on the trampoline. They loved watching the snow as it bounced up and down as they jumped.

Hooray for snow. Hooray for fun times!

Maya 6 months

My little Bean is 6 months old already. Time goes by so fast. Maya is so happy, content and quiet. She is such a fun addition to our family.
